Where did you meet?
We met in the small town of Taihape in 2019 - My Grandad passed away and Aaron was the funeral director. Mum was heard saying in the kitchen after the service that anyone would be more than happy if their daughter bought a guy home like Aaron, so that set the Anderson Aunties into match making mode! By the end of that night, we had chatted away for hours and as they say, the rest is history!
What part of your dress did you love the most?
My dress was everything I could have ever dreamed of and more! The details in the lace were just incredible but the detail around the bust was what I fell in love with. I knew as soon as Kirsty did it up that it was ‘the one’.
What did you like the most about your wedding day?
Being surrounded by everyone that meant so much to us. Our wedding day was a true reflection of us (and our families) but the speeches would have to be the most memorable - they truly were from the heart and had the room both in tears and fits of laughter, they truly were the best!
Any advice for future brides?
When everyone tells you that the day just flies by, you don’t believe them until the day is done! When the ceremony finished, we stood outside the church and greeted everybody as they made their way out and down onto the buses. It was beautiful because it meant that if we didn’t get the chance to see them later on in the evening, we knew we had spoken to everyone that was there. It meant a lot to us and to our guests!
